Q&A with our Certificate Course Students Madeleine, Fei and Karen

Congratulations to all our Certificate Course Students who will complete our course next week! They will be perfectly qualified to use 20 essential oils safely and effectively to care for their families and friends.

In their last class we asked them to give us an insight into the course, what they enjoyed learning most and how they are going to apply their aromatherapy knowledge:

1) How did you find out about APA’s Certificate Course? Any particular reasons for taking this class?

Madeleine: I was inspired by (former APA student and book author) Cecile Ellert. I wanted to know more about essential oil uses.

Fei: I was told by a friend because I was interested in plants and natural remedies.

Karen: A friend told me. I was interested in the healing power of essential oils.

2) Can you tell our readers a bit about the scope of the course and what you enjoyed learning most?

Madeleine: The lessons are very interesting and the teachers are lovely. We learn how to make blends for massages and different diseases.

Fei: The course covered all the areas related to aromatherapy. In the A&P class I learned more about the body and how the essential oils take effect inside our body. In Massage class I learned a few useful techniques to help my family relieve their muscle pain. I enjoyed the EOP class the most, learning all different uses of plants and blends.

Karen: It’s about blending of oils, ways of massage and learning some basic anatomy. I enjoy learning blending of oils for friends and myself the most.

3) What is your favorite Essential Oil and Base Product among the ones you studied?

Madeleine: True Lavender

Fei: Frankincense, German Chamomile and Neroli

Karen: Jasmine, Rose Otto, Lavender and Rosehip Oil

4) How do you apply your aromatherapy knowledge?

Madeleine: For my family, to heal them; I make creams and to clean my house

Fei: To replace my daily use products; share with my family and friends by making them some blends; also by giving them massage

Karen: Treatment of illness and other problems is melt with balancing and uplifting of emotions.

5) Any tips for our readers who are interested in taking this course?

Fei: This is a good course to start learning about aromatherapy if you are not sure whether aromatherapy is suitable for you. If you enjoy it and want to take it more in-depth, then you can join the Diploma Course.

Karen: It is good when you want to massage your partner. We can take less medicine and use more natural plants.

Thanks so much! If you are now inspired to start your journey into the art of aromatherapy, check out our next Certificate Course dates here.
